The Volcanic Lace Moonjar Vase draws inspiration from the sea and its creatures, embodying the evolution of the Volcano collection through the alchemy of the glazing process. Formed from stoneware clay thrown on the wheel, it incorporates oxides and slips added at different stages to create lace-like indents. The piece is glazed with a blend of matte white, volcanic, and crawl glazes, bringing depth and texture to its surface. After the initial glaze firing, a 24k pearlescent lustre is delicately applied, and the vase undergoes a third firing cycle to achieve its iridescent finish.

As each piece is hand crafted there will be slight variations in pattern and form, making every item distinctively unique.
